Phoenix Cycling Collective are set to take on the iconic Great Ocean Road this weekend for the Amy’s Otway Tour in Lorne, Victoria.

They’ll take a team of four to the National Road Series event with Andrew McCosker, Sam Hill, Nathan Booth, and William Barker making the trek.

The seventh race of the NRS begins with a fast criterium on Lorne’s foreshore followed by a punishing 120km road race including Great Ocean Road.

It’s the latest trip in a hectic schedule that has taken the Canberra outfit to as far north as Coonabarabran, and as south as Mount Gambier over the past seven months.

Phoenix Cycling Collective has enjoyed its most successful year of racing since its advent in 2014, emerging as a dominant force in Canberra.

Amy’s Otway Tour is the final stop for the team before the National Capital Tour, beginning on September 23.
